Nobody knows. Nobody knows if it will ever happen. If I was to guess I would guess if they built new schools, one would be built between Pound and Wise (on 23). In the BSG/Appy area, you would probably build it in the BSG area, probably more down towards Bullitt Park. And if they go the 3rd route, probably between St. Paul and Coeburn. Those would obviously be the preferred locations. Don't want you to think nobody was trying to answer you, but nobody can answer that because nobody knows if it will happen.

As for the community argument, again, those communities are dying or dead. Go back to what Appy was in the 70s, look now. Pound was killed or severely wounded when 23 went by the town.

Remember in the Old West that there thriving towns that became Ghost towns. Gold rush, they were happening, major centers. When it dried up, the towns dried up. Sounds close to coal doesn't it?

Home schooling is what my kids will get, if this garbage ever goes into effect. And don't put words in my mouth. I said that I was more concerned about keeping the schools open than about my taxes... I never said that everyone else had to be.

So basically the people of those towns arent worth the time, very interesting.

At least show some ability to learn and try to figure out whats best, not assume you know. You know what assuming does. Most of us who seem to at least admit it might be a necessary evil admit we don't know for sure what's best or the right solution, you're the only one that is 100% SURE whats best.

Actually location wise. Not sure i'd want a school where it can be easily approached.
A few to many shootings lately. Kind of makes me wonder if a little out of the way may not be better.
Hate to imagine the next psycho who's childhood was bad, deciding well down the road is a school.
I'll take it out on them. Just a thought.
